Sand Castle

After long time, I thought of posting a poem from my archives.

Sand Castle

In this jaded night,
when the sky has been smeared with pale clouds.
And I stand under,
infront of the white tides,
Which are struggling to reach my feet.
Dying at the shores; they are so weak.
The silent sea says 'watery' words,
Much like the tearful eyes of a hungry child.
The phlegmatic wind also has something to say,
But it's on its course.
Still! I sit on the sands,
Building my castle.
A gush comes and retreats after demolition;
O nature! The world is so fickle.

Ever wondered, how alone is a tree!

Some time back I thought of posting this one but did not post it.
I think it is not very well written. May be I'll improve it.

So here it is,

Solitude of the tree, an inkling of 'life',
Is so unknown, night and day;
We enjoy the shade and its halcyon ambience,
Instantaneously, our worries get blown away.

The tree bears the 'ruthless' Sun,
Stubborn life is the stubborn tree,
It stands the deluge of 'time'
Strong foundation is the key.

Wrath of nature impounded on the body,
Loses leaves, loses magnificence, loses tenacity,
Still it stands tall against the odds;
Its solitary life is full of acerbity.

Onset of spring - the greenery flutters;
Cheers, joys, happiness
Inside it discovers, it is still alone,
Lies are more and truth is less.

The feelings - underneath the bark,
Oozing droplets of sap - one, two, three;
Life and tree are essentially analogous,
Ever wondered, how alone is a tree!

On World Environment Day

I took this photograph in Brindavan Gardens in Mysore. On the occasion of World Environment Day, this tree emphasizes the importance of greenery and clean environment in our life. I am a passionate nature lover. On this day, I would stress that please don't throw any plastics in your surroundings. Also, try to use as minimum plastic as possible.

I'm on the banks

The transparent water;
Flowing slow and steady,
Dancing on the rocks,
Making its way through my hands.

The music of flow is pleasing,
It seems musicians from heavens are performing.
The jitters and movements of the trees resemble unique dance,
Dancers from the paradise have landed on this mortal ground.

The fluffy and frail clouds belittling stupendous mountains,
The 'coo' of the cuckoo echoing in the ambience.
Nature enticing my mind with her sorcery,
Bewitched!! I'm on the banks.

I was hearing the instrumental music named Delusion
by Rahul Sharma. That made me write this piece of
poetry.
Do listen to his music if you get a chance.

By The Road

Walking by the road, I felt disturbed
Tangible though intangible…..
A sense making me fervent
A realization – spearheaded by, thoughts
overflowing with ‘natural’ flavors.
Greenery, though not of jealousy,
filling my heart with tranquility.
Serenity in my mind, provided
by this architecture of divine.
The chirps, the flutter and cackling
sounds like music to me.
Cleaning my convulsions,
like the meandering Ganges.
The austerity of the virgins,
belittled by this immortal bliss.
It’s the ‘nature’ I see,
Pure, placid and free.

This was designed at a moment I was going by the road.
I saw a tree and beneath the tree there were few girls.
Just above, there was a window projection.
A typical moment
A crow flew like you would see in the movies slowly
very slowly just like the cameras were running at
thousands of frames per sec.
A squirrel came by and there was something in its eyes ....
Nature overpowering everything in terms of beauty.
